The device for tensioning a movable flexible panel (1), particularly the canopy of a shade, of which one end is connected to a reel (2), the other end being connected to at least one flexible pulling tie (9), each of these ties being linked to a tensioning element (8) so that the flexible panel (1) is continuously under stress in the direction in which it unwinds and thus counters the action of a winding device connected to the reel (2). The tensioning element (8) is connected to the pulling tie (9) via a translatably movable slide (15) mounted in a slide channel, and further comprises a device for rotatably locking the slide and consisting of ribs which define said slide channel.
