Electrical resistance band with ceramic spacers which are each retained separately by means of a metallic securing element on the band portions arranged adjacently on the broad side of the meander-shaped folded resistance band, the securing element engaging in apertures in the spacer and the band portion, characterised in that the spacers (1) each have a stepped central passage (1A, 1B) at a flat perforated point (3) of the band portion (4) for guiding and supporting the sunken rivet head (2A) of a securing rivet (2) for the spacer (1).
