<p>PURPOSE:To form a picture with high efficiency by providing a sheet feeding means which feeds a transfer sheet from a cassette to a transfer part when a cassette containing a transfer sheet having the same size is retrieved by a retrieving means and choking with a sheet is not detected by other detecting means on a transfer passage running from a cassette containing transfer sheets to a transfer part. CONSTITUTION:When choking with a sheet on a transfer passage 11 is detected by a switch 1, it is retrieved whether or not a cassette containing transfer sheets having the same size as that of a transfer sheet to which choking with a sheet occurs is attached. When, for example, a cassette 14 containing transfer sheets having the same size is retrieved, it is retrieved by other switches 4 and 5 whether or not choking with a sheet occurs on transfer passages 17 and 19 running from the cassette 14 having the transfer sheets having the same size to a transfer part 8. When it is decided that choking with a sheet does not occur on the transfer passages 17 and 19, a cassette from which sheets are fed is varied to the cassette 14, and transfer sheets are fed from the cassette 14.</p> |
