摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To save power consumption by receiving an information signal displaying the thickness of the bundle of recording paper and selecting and driving a plurality of heat sources on the basis of the thickness information of the information signal received. CONSTITUTION:A heating section 2505 is composed of a first heat roller 2529, a second heat roller 2536 and a drive system for the heat rollers, the length of the heat rollers 2529 and 2536 is made to differ, and the length and power consumption of heaters 2523, 2524 are also made to differ, and selected by a control circuit 2525 in response to the size and thickness of transfer paper as the object of bookbinding. A copper plate 2533 mounted onto a base 2516 is abutted against the heat roller 2529 or the heat roller 2536, heat generated from heaters is transmitted over a cover and the backbone is heated, and adhesives are made affined with a transfer paper group 2538 and the cover 2537. A temperature detecting sensor 2532 is arranged around the copper plate 2533, and the heater control circuit 2525 is operated on the basis of the result of the detection. Accordingly, heat treatment is attained efficiently, and the power consumption of a bookbinding mechanism is also reduced.</p>
