PURPOSE:To easily and surely repair the gap by wetting a hollow fiber with a liq. to make it airtight, evacuating the case and sucking a bonding agent utilizing the air current leaking into the case from the gap formed at the solidified part of the agent. CONSTITUTION:Many hollow fibers 3 are placed in the case 2 so that the end of the fiber 3 is exposed at the case opening. The bonding agent 4 is injected into the space between the bundled fibers 3 and that between the fiber 3 and the case 2 at the case opening region to fix the fibers. The fiber 3 is wetted with a liq. and made airtight, the case 2 is evacuated, the agent 4 is sucked utilizing the air current leaking into the case 2 from the gap formed at the solidified part 5 of the agent 4 to close the gap. Consequently, the gap is easily and surely repaired, and the product defect rate is reduced. |
