Fast drying processing of grasses and other plants

The processing system for grass and other plants consists in separating the plant bodies from their root balls and combining then in a flat surface area whence they are supplied to an area for breaking down the plant bodies in their longitudinal direction. The broken down plant bodies are then laid down on the field for drying either loose or in a mat. The plant bodies which are gathered up flat can be beaten and/or drawn and/or pressed and/or torn. They can be pressed into a mat before being laid on the field and during this compaction the plant sap can be removed.
