Friction roller support for transport track

The roller (12) is mounted on a stub axle (17) via bearings and is coupled to the axle by a friction clutch (45). The axle stub is located inside the mounting bore, in the support rail (11) by roller bearings inside a mounting sleeve (31). The sleeve holds the bearings in place and provides a pre-assembled fitting. The whole unit is fitted in one simple action, with a securing nut on the end of the axle stub. A locating plate (76) secures the axial position of the roller. The roller friction is independent of the loading.
