LOAD MONITORING CONTROL SYSTEM FOR PROGRAMMABLE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE:To attain exact abnormality detection corresponding to respective working conditions in the succeeding operation cycles by finding out the reference values of motor loads in a teaching operation cycle and automatically setting up an alarm value based upon the reference value. CONSTITUTION:The load states of motors 61 to 63 are measured during the operation of a machine, a prescribed alarm value Ia is calculated by using measurement values obtained by the teaching operation cycle and measurement values in the succeeding operation cycle are compared with the alarm value Ia to monitor the operating abnormality of the machine. Since the load reference values of the motors 61 to 63 are found out in the teaching operation cycle and the alarm value Ia is automatically set up based upon the reference values, exact abnormality detection corresponding to the working conditions can be attained in the succeeding operation cycle.
