BULLETIN BOARD UPDATING STATE INFORMING SYSTEM FOR FACSIMILE STORE AND FORWARD SWITCHING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To recognize the updating state of a bulletin board by each subscriber by informing information at the time of registration of the bulletin board in the lump to each subscriber terminal equipment automatically as a bulletin board updating state information. CONSTITUTION:An updating state informing text generating section 14 sends a code of a bulletin board and registration data information registered subsequent to the generation of a preceding updating state informing text or system start at a point of time of registration of the bulletin board for the specified number of times or the lapse of a prescribed time after the generation of the preceding state informing text or system start to a character image conversion section 15. The character image conversion section 15 converts the bulletin board code and the registration data information sent in character information into facsimile image data in a prescribed format and returns the data to the updating state informing text generating section 14. Then the updating state informing text generating section 14 synthesizes the bulletin board code converted into the facsimile image data, the registration date information and the head of the bulletin board and informs the result to a subscriber 3. Thus, each subscriber recognizes the updating state of the bulletin board.
