<p>PURPOSE:To make a valve openly and closely driven approach an intake port by arranging an actuator at the position facing an intake passage extending from one side of surge tank between adjacent intake passages. CONSTITUTION:V valve opening/closing system formed of actuators 11 and the like are provided at an upper part of a V bank, one by one. The actuator 11 is arranged between adjacent intake passages 5, 6, and at the position facing the long intake passage 5 which extends from one surge tank 2 on the other side thereof to another surge tank 2 on the same side thereof. A connection point (a) of a lever of a link connected to a rod of the actuators 11 is arranged at the down side of the long intake passage 5, and positioned between adjacent intake ports 7(8), 8 of cylinders. A valve 9 openly and closely driven by the actuator 11 is made as much as possible to approach the intake port 8 without preventing compactness of an engine 1.</p> |
