摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To boost the output voltage by a method wherein the cores of the primary and secondary coils are divided into two parts to generate magnetic flux in the opposite direction to that of the magnetic flux of the primary coil while a closed magnetic path is formed through the intermediary of a permanent magnet provided with a conductive layer on the end faces not abutting against the cores. CONSTITUTION:Since the first and second cores 11, 12 are laminated bodies of silicon steel sheet, a little eddy current is generated corresponding to the change in magnetic flux however, due to the block type permanent magnet 18, when the magnetic flux by the primary coil 21 is applied to the permanent magnet 18 as shown by a dotted line in the figure, a large eddy current as shown by a broken line is generated. However, this eddy current runs circulating the metallic plating layers 18a or 18d in high conductivity on the end faces of the permanent magnet 18 so that the eddy current running in the permanent magnet 18 may be minimized to make the magnet 18 function effectively for increasing the changing ratio of the interlinkage flux of the secondary coil 22. Furthermore, the title ignition coil 1 can generate higher output voltage compared with the other ignition coils fitted with the conventional permanent magnet.</p>
