The invention relates to a seal for detection of the access to an object or a relative motion between a plurality of juxtaposed objects. According to the invention, the seal is comprised of an envelope (1) with dimensional recovery arranged to cover at least partially the object or objects (21, 22) and presenting, at least after dimensional recovery, weakening areas (4). Application particularly to the covering of fluid conduit adaptors, electric or optical cable connectors, threaded mouthpieces for compressed gas bottles, and to the covering of cases.
