PURPOSE:To obtain the shape memory alloy having excellent workability, low temp. hysteresis and high recovering capacity by adding specified amounts of V and furthermore one or >=2 kinds among Cr, Fe, Al and Co to a Ti-Ni series shape memory alloy contg. Cu. CONSTITUTION:The Ti-Ni series shape memory alloy has a compsn. constituted of, by atom, 42.0 to 49.0% Ni, 2.5 to 7.0% Cu, 0.1 to 5.0% V, total 0.05 to 3.0% of one or >=2 kinds among Cr, Fe, Al and Co and the balance Ti. In the Ti-Ni series shape memory alloy, by synergistically adding V with Cu in a specified range and moreover adding specified amounts of Cu, Fe, Al, Co, etc., temp. hysteresis is reduced, shape recovering capacity is increased and workability can be improved as well. |
