PURPOSE:To allow the development of two kinds of printing plates with the same tank by subjecting the damping-waterless photosensitive planographic printing plate and the photosensitive planographic printing plate requiring damping water to development processing by supplying the developing solns. to be respectively exclusively used according to the kinds of the printing plates. CONSTITUTION:The kind of the developing soln. meeting the photosensitive planographic printing plate to be processed is first selected. The developing soln. of a developing soln. storage tank 2 is selected. The route is then switched to the route in which the developing soln. in the tank 2 is supplied from shower pipes 6 by a pump 10 and is returned from the developing tank 1 to the tank 2. Transporting rollers 7,8 and a brush roller 9 rotate and the printing plate P is transported when the photosensitive printing plate P to be processed is inserted to the left end of the developing tank 1. The developing soln. is then put from the shower pipes 6 into the tank 2 and is supplied to the printing plate P, by which the printing plate is developed. The developing soln. flowing down from the top of the printing plate P returns through a flow passage selector valve 4 to the tank 2. The same holds true even when the developing soln. of a developing soln. storage tank 3 is selected. |
