PURPOSE:To attain high speed transmission/reception and to monitor an output state of each terminal equipment by constituting a network with a center, a PBX, terminal equipment and databases, processing data on a transmission line as packets and applying packet exchange by the PBX. CONSTITUTION:The network consists of a center 1 selecting information sent to each terminal equipment and monitoring the entire network simultaneously, an intelligent packet exchange (PBX) 2 classifying and sending an information signal string from the center 1 to each terminal equipment, terminal equipments 3-6, and specific databases 7-10 attended with the terminal equipments 3-6. Moreover, a center output signal 101 sent from the center 1 to the PBX 2 is added with a data string resulting from parameter-processing audio picture information outputted from a terminal equipment and the data signals are all processed as packets. Then the PBX 2 classifies the center output signal 101 received from the center 1 according to destination being each terminal equipment and outputs a PBX output signal 103, 105, 107, 109 to a prescribed terminal equipment. Thus, fault detection and efficient data transmission are attained. |
