PURPOSE:To actuate a means which specifies an input key only at the time of the key input by stopping the operation of a 1st key input detection means when the key input is not detected. CONSTITUTION:When a key is inputted via a keyboard 1, a key input device 2 detects the key input and applies an interruption to a CPU 3 via an interruption control circuit 4. Simultaneously, the device 2 sends a key input detection informing signal via a data bus 6. When no specific key is specified for a prescribed time, the CPU 3 sends a key input detection control signal and the prescribed data to the device 2 from an address decoder 5 to stop the key specifying action of the device 2. Thus the operation of a function which specifies a key inputted is stopped if the key input is not detected for a prescribed time. Therefore the key specifying function is actuated only at the time of a key input. |
