PURPOSE:To switch plane information at a high speed by connecting an input plane and an output plane through specific switching arrays which switch signals as many as signals of the input plane between the input plane and output plane and enabling branching to a specific switch. CONSTITUTION:The input plane and output plane are connected through IogN switching arrays where (N/2)X(N/2) switches which switch the signals as many as the signals of the input plane. When a signal is sent from a switch at an (n, m)th position in a (k)th plane to a (k+1)th plane and (k) is smaller than IogN, set n/2K=q.2K+r and m/2K=s.2K+t; and branching to a switch at a (2K<+1>-2n-2, 2K<+1>-2m-2)th position for (n) and (m) where (q) and (s) are both even or branching to a switch at a (2K<+2>-2n-1, 2K<+2>-2m-1)th position for (n) and (m) where (q) and (s) are both odd is performed. Consequently, the plane information can be switched fast. |
