PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIAL AND PROCESS COMPRISING A PYRAZOLOTRIAZOLE COUPLER A pyrazolotriazole dye-forming coupler containing on a carbon atom in a non-coupling position a ballast group derived from and bonded through a carboxylic acid portion of an unsubstituted or substituted amino acid provides useful magenta dye images in a photographic material and process and enables simplification of manufacture of the coupler. Such couplers are useful in photographic silver halide materials and processes.
