<p>Disclosed is a portable electronic apparatus, which comprises a base body (10) having a socket storage portion (20), a display unit (40) having a display (42), a socket (30) having an opening (31), provided on the socket storage portion and swingably mounted to the base body, a plug (43) mounted to the display unit detachably fitted into the socket, electrical connecting means (25, 26) for electrically connecting said display unit to the base body by fitting the plug into the socket, a lid (60) serving to cover the opening of the socket when the display unit is detached from the base body by removing the plug from the socket, catching means (66) for detachably connecting said lid to the socket and a storing means (70) for storing the lid is removed from the socket.</p> |
