PURPOSE:To take out a spherical body safely, surely and quickly by reciprocating vertically a cylindrical body to put a spherical body holder in and out of the cylindrical body, expand and contract radially the distal end of a pawl portion of the spherical body holder. CONSTITUTION:After a golf ball 3 is molded with a metal mold, the upper metal mold is separated from the lower metal mold 1 and a plate 12 is interposed between both metal molds by a handling mechanism or the like. Then, the plate 12 is lowered while a cylindrical body 5 is lifted and the distal end 9 of each clamping pawl 7 is located near the seam line (equator line) of the corresponding golf ball 3. The cylindrical body 5 is lowered under such a condition to contract the diameter of the distal end 9 of each clamping pawl 7 and clamp the respective corresponding golf balls 3 with the pawl 7. The plate 12 is lifted under such a condition to take the golf ball 3 out of a recess 2. Thereafter, the plate 12 is moved from between the upper and lower metal molds to another position (ball receiving part) where the cylindrical body 5 is lifted to release the ball 3 from the clamping of the pawl 7 so that each ball is dropped into the ball receiving part and stored therein. |
