PURPOSE:To receive a dyestuff picture accurately, and to print a halftone picture having high resolution with high precision by keeping the Bekk smoothness of the lower-coating total surface of a sheet base material and the printing rigidity of the sheet base material within a specific range. CONSTITUTION:The title sheet has a sheet base material 5 composed of a sheet- shaped base material 1 including cellulose pulp as a main component and a lower coating layer 2 containing a thermoplastic resin as a principal ingredient and a picture receiving layer 3 being formed onto the lower coating layer 2 and receiving and dyeing a thermal-transfer picture forming dyestuff, the Bekk smoothness of the surface of the lower coating layer 2 is brought to one hundred sec or more, and rigidity in the printing direction of the sheet base material is brought to 700m. A rear coating layer 4 mainly comprising the thermoplastic resin is shaped onto the rear of the sheet-shaped base body 1, and the sheet base material may be constituted of the sheet-shaped base body 1, the lower coating layer 2 and the rear coating layer 4. Accordingly, all uniformity of gradation properties, low density and high density are improved, the generation of heat curling after printing is reduced, and all of the vividness of a picture, the whiteness of a background and natural feeling are also enhanced. |
