FEEDER FOR WIRE-SHAPED BODY

PURPOSE:To increase the sealability of a passage and the thrust of a wire- shaped body and to allow the control of the rotation of a bobbin and a feed speed by disposing the supply bobbin of the wire-shaped body into the passage so as to receive compressed air along the tangent direction where the wire- shaped body is fed. CONSTITUTION:The compressed air supplied from a compressed air source 16 is supplied from an inlet 14B through a bobbin housing part 14A into the wire-shaped body passage 14. The air is press fed to the tangent direction of the supply bobbin 18 en route to let off the wire-shaped body 12 and to apply the thrust to the wire-shaped body in the passage 14 part. A feed driving source 20 can set the rotating speed of the wire-shaped body at a prescribed value by a control panel 22 and synchronizes the rotating speed of the supply bobbin 18 and the feed speed of the wire-shaped body 12 by applying resistance to the thrust by the compressed air. In addition, the driving source can control the delivery speed of the wire-shaped body by varying the rotating speed thereof.
