PURPOSE:To enable even a visually handicapped person to operate easily a device by making it possible to input the contents of transaction by touching a guidance panel by prescribed number of times according to a numeral or a symbol when the presence of a visual impediment is recognized by a transaction medium. CONSTITUTION:In the case it is recognized that a customer is the visually handicapped person at the time of reading the transaction medium on which transaction information is recorded, a panel guidance 8 is switched into a mode centering at speech guidance 19, and the contents of the guidance is turned into one suitable for the visually handicapped person as well. The customer inputs or outputs the contents of the transaction, i.e., the designation of the kind of the transaction, the input of a personal identification number, and the amount of the transaction, etc., by a prescribed touch panel system on the basis of the speech guidance 19. Thus, even the visually handicapped person can execute easily necessary operation such as the designation of the contents of the transaction, etc. |
