The double glazing unit for a building facade comprises two parallel panes of glass (1,2) separated all the way round their perimeter by a distance piece (3), which forms a hermetic seal between them. The distance piece is set at least 15 mm inwards from the edge, leaving an open groove all the way round, in which a channel section bar (6) open to the outside, is secured via layers of mastic (7) to the panes. ADVANTAGE - Easy installation and secure over a long period, no gluing being necessary.
