PRINTING AND COATING INK CONTAINING MICROCAPSULE AND SPACER

摘要

The invention relates to printing inks and coating inks which contain microcapsules and, as spacers, spherical hard monodisperse or oligodisperse particles. The latter have mean particle sizes from 2 to 50 mu m and consist of melamine/formaldehyde condensation products. The spacers to be used according to the invention protect the microcapsules substantially better against unintended destruction than the spacers of the state of the art and allow the use of hitherto not applicable coating and printing techniques and an optimisation thereof.
