PURPOSE:To obviate the mingling between coated layers and to eliminate flaws between the respective coated layers by continuously executing the applying, drying or film laminating at every layer, then taking up the web and obtaining the web roll of the printing plate. CONSTITUTION:A process is constituted of a supporting body web roll WS, an applicator 1 used for coating the lowermost layer (primer layer), electromagnetic wave irradiating devices 12, 12', a dryer 11, a applicator 23 for a photosensitive layer and ink repulsive layer, dryers 21, 31, a web roll WP of a laminated film to be formed as a protective layer, a laminate roller 4, and a taken up printing plate web W. A primer layer is formed as the lowermost layer on the supporting body and further, at least the photosensitive layer, the ink repulsive layer and the protective layer are successively laminated thereon. The coating and drying or film laminating at every layer is continuously executed and thereafter, the web is taken up to obtain the web roll of the printing plate. Thus, the mingling of the layers at the time of the coating is averted and the flaws are not formed in the coating layers. |
