PURPOSE:To run a desired program stored in an internal or external memory by utilizing a key start function by providing a specific number of program execution keys and program storage means as many as the execution keys and judging whether stored programs are executed or not. CONSTITUTION:This computer is provided with a specific number of the program execution keys 12, the program storage means 16 stored with the programs as many as the execution keys 12, and an external storage means 20 stored with the programs as many as the execution keys 12. Then when an execution key 12 is operated when the external storage means 20 is not loaded, the program corresponding to the execution key is executed and when the execution key 12 is operated while the external storage means 20 is loaded, it is judged which of programs stored in the program storage means 16 and external storage means 20 is executed and the program is executed. Consequently, even when the external memory is loaded, and desired program stored in the internal memory or external memory can be run by utilizing the key start function.
