<p>PURPOSE:To dispense with operation of a clutch lever so as to improve operability by decreasing engine output temporarily in the case power is transmitted to driving wheels when a speed change element is shifted to the speed change of the high speed side, thereby spontaneously making zero the transmitting torque of a transmission mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A junction box 14 is arranged on the way of a cable 12 which connects a throttle grip 11 of a motorbike to a carburetor 13. The carburetor 13 is capable of being controlled by the power of actuators 17, 18 which are controlled by a control unit 25. Namely, when it is judged that the driving power of an engine is transmitted by the output of a torque direction sensor 24, and when shift up operation is detected by a pedal sensor 23, a delay angle signal is outputted to an ignition timing controller 21. The output torque of the engine is decreased so as to make the transmitting torque of a transmission mechanism substantially zero, and to enable shift up without disengaging a clutch.</p> |
