PURPOSE:To improve the appearance of a household Buddhist altar while being opened and closed with a door body, and enhance the solemnity of the altar by providing a guide on the top plate of the altar, making a closing flat plate freely slidable in engagement with a roller and transmitting the motion of a travel body driven body driven with a motor to the closing flat plate. CONSTITUTION:A household Buddhist alter 1 has a biparting door 3 and a pair of right and left closing flat plates 9 reciprocating via a guide 70. On the other hand, the closing flat plates 9 are interlocked with a reciprocating open/close means 11 equipped with an electric motor (m). The travel body 15 of the reciprocating open/close means 11 comprises chains 91 and 92, and a chain wheel 90, and this chain wheel 90 is driven with the electric motor (m).
