<p>PURPOSE:To cut off the side edge portion of a sheet up to the middle without giving unnecessary force to the sheet by pivotally supporting the second shaft, which is equipped with a protruded knife and a receiver knife, to a rotationally moving frame which is set up with reciprocal rotational-movement allowable around the first shaft provided on a base frame. CONSTITUTION:When a cutting length reaches a preset value, a rotationally moving frame 20 is moved by a rotational-movement control section and a protruded knife 51 and a receiver knife 52 are subsequently moved along an circular track with the second shaft 40 as a center. The movement of the protruded knife 51 and the receiver knife 52 for a sheet S is a combination of the rotational movement of the rotationally moving frame 20 and the straight movement of the sheet so that a cut line by the protruded knife and the receiver knife is in such a smoothly curved form as curved outward from the side edge portion. As a result, the sheet is smoothly cut without undertaking unnecessary force. When the rotationally moving frame gets to a spaced position, the protruded knife and the receiver knife are apart from the side edge portion of the sheet and the side edge portion is cut off in part completely.</p> |
