<p>Process comprises (a) distilling amide tall oil, removing a whole distilled fraction as the distillate and a pitch-fraction as the bottoms (b) fractionally distilling the whole distilled tall oil (c) heat treating the tall oil resin fraction in an inert environment at 200-300 degrees C for 1-20 hrs. and (d) distilling the heat treated tall oil resin and recovering a tall oil resin as the distillate having reduced colour and odour.</p> |
