A mounting box 1 for fitting a Venetian blind in a window casement is described. The Venetian blind comprises a standard suspension rail 8 which is mounted horizontally near the top part of the window casement. An L-shaped guide rail 9 for the Venetian blind is mounted on each side piece 10 of the window casement. The characterizing feature of the invention is that the mounting box has a web section 4 which extends transversely across the suspension rail, holder members 3 made in one continuous piece with the web section on each side of this, and intended for form-fit engagement with the suspension rail, and a tongue 6 arranged on one side of the web section in one continuous piece with the web section and essentially at right angles to the plane of the web section. The transition part between the base of the tongue and the web section is intended to rest against the upper edge 45 of one leg 14 of the guide rail, and thereby support the suspension rail 8, after the mounting box has been moved along the suspension rail 8. <IMAGE> |
