<p>NEW MATERIAL:A synthetic peptide having an amino acid sequence of L body expressed by the formula (X is H, Cys or Cys-Gly; Y is OH, Cys or Gly-Cys). USE:A vaccine against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) caused by acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). PREPARATION:For example, N-tert-buthoxycarbonyl-S-p-methoxybenzylcystein resin is used as a starting raw material and an amino acid is successively reacted one by one from Cys on C end side using an amino acid of L body protected in alpha-amino aid and side chain functional group by a solid synthesis method to afford a peptide bonded resin. Then trifluoroacetic acid, etc., is added to the resin to treat the resin and the peptide is cleaved from the resin and simultaneously total protecting groups are removed and then isolated peptide is purified with high speed liquid chromatography to provide the synthetic peptide expressed by the formula.</p> |
