A first premix comprises particular cane molasses, dissolved calcium chloride, fat, water, and urea having a pH between about 4.4 and about 5.5. A second premix comprises water soluble salts of orthophosphoric acid which when mixed with the first premix provides a block having a hardness of 4.0 in 6 hours or less and minimum loss in field weather conditions. A dry blend of animal feed supplements may be included in the block. |
