The pump is designed is dispense a liq. from a container. It has a cylinder (10) which is fastened to the container by a screw cap (12). A piston (18) operates inside the cylinder (10) and has an attached piston rod (22). The piston rod (22) is guided by a disc (28), with a central hole, which is fitted in the upper end of the cylinder (10). This disc (28) also serves as a stop for the piston. The cylinder (10), the piston (18), the piston rod (22) and the perforated disc (28) are all made from plastic. The pump is fitted with an inlet valve (16) and an outlet valve (26).
