<p>This metering feeder feeds a receiver (1) such as an industrial or laboratory reactor, from a storage container (2). It comprises a tubular feed guide (7), whose downstream end is disposed inside the receiver (1) itself. In the feed guide (7) are disposed conveyor means, such as a screw (12) extending down to the downstream end of this guide (7). A cover (20), located at the downstream end of the guide (7), closes this end when the conveyor means (12) are not operated. The product is thus fed directly into the receiver (1), the quantity of product fed able to be continuously monitored by weighing means (5, 6, 24) supporting the complete feeder assembly. Particular application: feeding of powder.</p> |
