A filter unit for a modular filter assembly comprises a head (1), said head having a feed chamber (2) and a discharge chamber (3), and a casing (6) surrounding a filter element (4). Fluid flow from the feed chamber to the discharge chamber of said filter unit passes through said filter element. The head (1) is provided with a first inlet opening (21) and a first outlet opening (22) which communicate with said feed chamber (2), and the head (1) is provided with a second inlet opening (31) and a second outlet opening (32) which communicate with said discharge chamber (3). <IMAGE> |
