A MOISTURE ABSORBING DEVICE

A device for location in a liquid fuel tank to absorb water therein comprises a permeable bag filled with concentrated, super absorbent starch and weighted with silica sand. The bag fabric is treated with starch solution to repel the fuel and allow water to enter. The bag is connected to the tank by a line which discharges static electricity and enables the bag to be withdrawn when saturated.
