<p>PURPOSE:To enable uniform biological reaction by causing a large, thin ceramics plate to serve as a biological catalyst immobilization carrier. CONSTITUTION:Wastewater is introduced into a wastewater inlet pipe 6 by means of a pump 18, while compressed air is introduced into diffusers 4, 5. The wastewater is delivered from small holes of the wastewater inlet pipe 6 and flows upwardly and passes through the gaps between ceramics contact plates 3 to be brought into contact therewith. Since aerobic bacteria are attached to the surfaces of the plates 3, purification is performed effectively. As a result, maintenance work can be avoided, thereby resulting in continuous operation.</p> |
