PURPOSE:To permit rapid STOP of a fuel pump in case of abnormally e.g., in collision accident, by constituting the captioned apparatus so that a high voltage pulse transmitted from the primary side of an ignition coil is detected and the fuel pump is operated in the state where the above-descried pulses are applied in repetition. CONSTITUTION:A revolution detecting apparatus 50 into which the high-voltage pulse on the primary side 1a of an ignition coil 1 is inputted with the high- voltage pulses in repetition in a time interval shorter than the electric discharge time of a condenser C9 which is determined by the electrostatic capacity of the condenser C9 in normal state and the resistance value of a resistor 11, and therefore an N-gate thyristor 8 is turned ON/OFF in repetition to charge the condenser 9. Therefore, a PUT13 and a transistor Tr14 are turned ON, and a fuel pump 5 is operated continuously. When high-voltage pulse is not generated because of a cause, C9 is electrically discharged, and the PUT13 and the Tr14 are turned OFF, and the operation of the fuel pump 5 is suspended by deenergizing a relay 17. |
