PURPOSE:To enable a tape unit to be easily and rapidly replaced by a method wherein a changer, which replaces a tape unit on a table moving device with a tape unit on a spare table reciprocating in a lateral direction, is provided between the spare table and the table moving device. CONSTITUTION:A spare table 12 jointly arranged with a spare tape unit 8 is provided in the rear of a table moving device 2, and a changer 20, which replaces the tape unit 8 on the table moving device 2 with the tape unit 8 on the spare table 12 reciprocating in a lateral direction, is provided between the spare table 12 and the table moving device 2. When the electronic parts of the tape unit 8 on the table moving device 2 run out, the changer 20 automatically replaces the tape unit 8 concerned with the spare tape unit 8 on the spare table 12 reciprocating. By this setup, the automatic replacement of the tape unit 8 can be easily made. |
