PURPOSE:To prevent an ink layer from becoming peeled apart and also an image receptor from receiving a thermally transferred image during recording by providing an adhesive layer consisting of polyvinylbutylal, an isocyanate compound and dye between a base and an ink layer. CONSTITUTION:In a sublimating thermal transfer recording ink sheet consisting of an ink layer of sublimating dye and a binder on a base, an adhesive layer of polyvinylbutylal, an isocyanate compound and dye is provided between the base and the ink layer. That is, the adhesive layer of polyvinylbutylal and an isocyanate compound is characteristic of excellent adhesion between the base and the ink layer. Consequently, it is possible to obtain a sublimating thermal transfer recording ink sheet which enables thermal transfer without deterioration of adhesive properties, deterioration of image density and also free from thermal fusion. |
