PURPOSE:To obtain favorable electrodeposition coating properties, adhesion and corrosion resistance after coating even by quick low temperature heating by a method wherein specified resin composition is applied so as to produce solid film having coating build-up of 0.1-4.0g/m<2>. CONSTITUTION:Chromate film having coating build-up of 5-500mg/m<2> in chromium equivalent is provided on zinc plating or zinc-based alloy plating, which is applied on at least one side of steel plate. Further, on the resultant chromate film, resin composition, which is prepared by blending 0.5-10 pts.wt. of silane coupling agent, 5-70 pts.wt. of amino resin and 10-150 pts.wt. of silica to 100 pts.wt. of epoxy resin modified by adding 0.8-1.0mole of dialkanolamine to one equivalent of epoxy group of epichlorhydrin-bisphenol A epoxy resin having 500-5000 epoxy equivalent, is produced as solid film by the coating build-up of 0.1-4.0g/m<2>. Thus, electrodeposition coating properties, adhesion and corrosion resistance after coating, which are favorable even by quick low temperature heating, is obtained. |
