<p>PURPOSE:To easily observe an enlarged figure by displaying a correspondent figure concerning a designated part in a remained part on a screen while preserving an area including the designated part and the fixed range of the periphery on the screen. CONSTITUTION:When the object of enlargement is designated, an enlarging object area including the object and the enlarged figure are automatically arranged and both of them are displayed on the screen so as to be easily identified. Namely, the enlarging object area to be designated by the pointing operation of one point on the screen defines a minimum size or an approximate size to be recognized on the screen as a minimum area and automatically set. Next, an enlarged figure display candidate area with the largest margin is obtained and in this area, the enlarged figure is displayed. When the point of a + mark (near the Miura Peninsula) is pointed as the enlarging object, a margin 23 is obtained so as to identify the enlarging object area and the enlarged figure, and the enlarged figure is displayed in a whole figure by a window. The enlarging object area is surrounded by a frame and easily observed by displaying a leader line 201 between the enlarging object area and the enlarged figure.</p> |
