PURPOSE:To improve light resistance and color tone stability of drink from an ill taste and an offensive smell by blending a drink with a specific dyestuff composition. CONSTITUTION:Palm carotene containing 20-30% alpha-carotene, 60-70% beta-carotene and 3-5% another carotenoid is mixed with 2-100 times as much edible oily material (e.g. soybean oil) as palm carotene by weight at normal temperature-160 deg.C to give a uniform solution. Then the uniform solution is mixed and emulsified with 3-20 times as much aqueous system containing 0.5-50wt.% surfactant (e.g. polyglycerin fatty acid ester) and/or 1-50wt.% protecting colloid substance (e.g. gelatin) as the uniform solution by weight to give a dyestuff composition. Then a drink is blended with the dyestuff composition. |
