<p>PURPOSE:To enable a secure tracking control and high density recording and reducing equivalently each amplitude of a recording starting part and a recording ending part of a tracking control signal respectively and performing the recording accordingly. CONSTITUTION:For example, the amplitude is (a) during only a period of taufrom the beginning part of a pilot signal, and afterward the amplitude becomes 2a, and then this amplitude is formed to be reduced again to (a) in the ending part of the pilot signal, and meanwhile a frequency of the pilot signal is not altered. Thus, the recording is performed by reducing equivalently the amplitudes of the recording starting part and the recording ending part of the tracking control signal to be recorded in a burst pattern. By this method, a degree of interference of the tracking control signals to be generated from adjacent tracks with each other is suppressed, and hence an effect of transient noise almost is eliminated. By this method, a recording area of a data, etc., is prevented from decreasing, and high density recording is realized.</p> |
