PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the defect of an image and to eliminate the need of removing and recovering residual toner after developing by providing an electrifying means and an exposing means directly facing an electrostatic latent image carrier, forming a electrostatic latent image, and carrying out developing at a position where the body to be developed is closely overlapped with the electrostatic latent image carrier. CONSTITUTION:The device adopts a structure so that the electrostatic latent image carrier 101 partially comes into contact with the body to be developed 102, and is provided with the electrifying means 105 electrifying the electrostatic latent image carrier 101 and the exposing means 106 which adjoins the electrifying means 105, exposes the electrostatic latent image carrier 101, and forms the electrostatic latent image, which directly face the electrostatic latent image carrier 101, so that electrifying and exposing are not prevented by the residual toner. A recording/supporting body 111 is overlapped with a toner image on the body to be developed 102 at the position where the electrostatic latent image carrier 101 closes on the body to be developed 102, and the toner image on the body to be developed 102 is transferred on the recording/supporting body 111. Thus, a mean to carry out cleaning and to remove residual toner is not needed, and an image is prevented from being defected. |
