PURPOSE:To provide a thermoplastic resin composition of outstanding matte effect without impairing good characteristics inherent in the resin, comprising rubber-reinforced thermoplastic resin and unsaturated carboxylic acid-modified olefin polymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. of a rubber- reinforced thermoplastic resin (e.g. ABS resin, AES resin, with a rubber content 5-40wt%) prepared by grafting to rubber (1) pref. 50-80wt% of aromatic vinyl compound, and (2) pref. 20-50wt% of vinyl cyanide and/or other vinyl compound(s) [pref. (meth)acrylic ester] and (B) 0.1-40pts.wt. of a polymer derived from (1) 0.01-20wt% of unsaturated carboxylic acid and/or its anhydride (pref. dicarboxylic acid and/or its anhydride) (2) 99.99-5wt% of an olefin (pref. ethylene, propylene) and (3) 0-75wt% of another ethylenic unsaturated monomer. |
