<p>Method for purifying a bath of liquid metal, particularly zinc or zinc aluminium for continuous production of steel strip immersion coated in a coating zone (5a), providing for the continuous circulation of the metal coating bath (2) between the coating zone (5a) and a purification zone (5b). In purification zone (5b), the solid intermetallic compounds in the said bath are brought to the surface, their rise to the surface is accelerated, and the purified bath (2) is returned to zone (5a), the iron content of the bath being approximately equal to or lower than the solubility limit. A device for implementing said method is also disclosed.</p> |
