PURPOSE:To continue navigation travel as it is even when a vehicle is out of an original optimum route by providing a means to set the optimum route from a current spot newly corresponding to an out state from the optimum traveling route. CONSTITUTION:A route changing means is provided to suitably set the optimum traveling route again corresponding to the out state from the optimum traveling route, which is set by a route setting means for the position of the vehicle itself, so that the optimum traveling route changed and reset by the route changing means can be updated and displayed on the display screen of a display means. Accordingly, it is enough for a driver to continue driving corresponding to the newly set optimum route from the out spot. Thus, even when the driver selects a wrong route and drives out of the original optimum route, the navigation driving can be continued as it is and an enough safety feeling can be applied to the driver. |
